Vijoklis

Man tikrai labai patinka mano vijoklinė šparaginė pupelė. Jos žiedeliai violetiniai, tik pasirodžiusi mažutė ankštelė yra žalia, augdama pasidaro violetinė, o išvirus vėl bus žalia. Gražu.

I really like my runner-bean. It's blooms are violet, young pods are green, they become violet when theyy grow bigger, and they will again become green when cooked. Nice.

P.S. Jau valgau savo geltonas žemuoges.

P.S. I already eat my yellow strawberries.

Vėl apie pomidorus

Pirmasis pražydęs pomidoras mano balkone buvo "Yellow pearshaped", tačiau pirmasis užmegztas pomidoriukas priklauso "Red cherry"! Beje, pats augalas mane jau praaugo - reikės kopetėlių pomidorams skinti...

The first tomato to blossom in my balcony was "Yellow pearshaped", but the first little tomato is "Red cherry"! By the way, this tomato plant is already taller than me, I'll need to use a ladder for picking tomatos...
O štai "Japoninis triufelis" dar nežydi - neturi kada, nes bando užauginti net dvi viršūnes. Tai nėra pamirštas nuskinti papildomas stiebas, tai tikrai į dvi dalis pasidalinęs stiebas.

"Japanese Black Truffle" is not blossoming yet - he has no time, because this tomato is trying to have even two heads. No it is not a forgotten sucker, it is really a doubled stem.

Ok, seems like I have a nice possibility to refresh my English. I started to translate my posts from the very first one - this is how my language skills will improve and, hopefully, these balcony-experiments will be also useful for other English speaking people... The translated version goes after each post and in italic.
