Akivaizdus pavasaris

Balkone akivaizdus pavasaris.

It is an evident spring in my balcony. Thick and strong sprouts of radish and metrika are slowly but surely geting out of the ground, also little tomatos are erupting, so they are now taken to the balcony, together with majoran and lemon-balm. The seeds of majoran and lemon-balm are so smallm that I didn.t put any ground on them, so now I can see the tiny white shoots comming out of them. It is a pitty, that my photography skills are too poor for making a photo of them.

And here are growing lettuce shoots. .The keep turning towards light, so I have to turn the pot from time to time.

P.S. Mano super druper egzotiškosios pomidorų sėklos atkeliauja :)
P.S. My super duper exotic tomato seed are coming :)

2009 m. kovo 29 d., sekmadienis

Pirmieji daigai!

Valio valio, šiandien pasirodė pirmieji daigeliai - pirmauja salotos, sėtos 03 26 (pasak sodininkų kalendoriaus - didžiai nepalanki diena sėjai). Kartu su salotomis buvo pasėta:
Pomidorai "Red cherry"
Pomidorai "Balconi red F1"
Pomidorai "Yellow pearshaped"
Juodos paprikos "Oda"
Agurkai "Athos F1"
Ožragė
Kalendra
Petražolės
Melisa
Visi šie augaliukai sukaišioti po radiatoriais kambaryje, lengvai pridengti plėvele. Bunda :)

Hurray hurray, first little shoots appeared today – lettuce are the firs ones and they were sowed on March 26th (a very bad day for sowing according to gardeners‘ calendar). Together with lettuce I sown:

Tomatos „Red cherry“

Tomatos „Balconi Red F1“

Tomatos „Yellow pearshaped“

Black sweet pepper „Oda“

Cucumber „Atos“

Methika / Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graceum)

Coriander

Parsley

Lemon-balm

All these plants are under the heaters in the room, covered with plastic bags. Waking upJ

There are radish, dill and peas, sowed in pots in a glazed balcony.

Today also three orange sweet peppers “Gourmet” were taken to the balcony (these were sowed a little bit earlier). They still have no “real” leaves, but it seems that they like staying there. Just like the passiflora.

Yesterday, March 28th, I also sowed strawberries „Regina“, basil and majoran, thay are also under the heaters. Chilly pepper seeds were soaked and now they stay on a piece of wet blotting-paper (ok, ok, it is toilet paperi n fact) and covered with a transparent plastic lid. I can not put them ON the heater – they get dry too fast.

There will be no photos – nothing to show yet.

P.S. The worst thing is – I do not know where will I put everything. The other bad thing is – I didn‘t store any of the plastic dishes, left from sour cream or yoghurt, that could help when thinning tomatos. And the last really bad thing is, that next week I will get some exclusive, rare tomato seeds...
